The mug is a good size, the handle very well designed to fit comfortably in the hand. This isn't one of those pretty mugs that tortures your fingers, although it is still attractive to the eye. The glass infuser works very well to keep the larger leaves of a premium loose leaf tea from reaching the main body of the mug, although loose leaf tea from manufacturers that usually make teabags (PG Tips, Tetley, Twinings) may be cut up too finely to use with it. The lid works nicely to keep tea warm, and also can be used to hold the infuser once your cup has brewed. Although this mug is fairly sturdy and made of thick borosilicate glass, as with all fragile products check to ensure it isn't broken upon receipt. The seller is quick to correct if items are broken in shipping, so order without fear - but if you are giving this as a gift, leave yourself an extra couple of days just in case, as with any fragile product.
