As a "Clockwork Orange" enthuisiast who was not even born before the renovation of the Glasgow subway system took place , I enjoyed this book immensely. It is packed full of pictures which illustrate clearly what the old underground system was like. It even gives you an idea of what the atmosphere was like during the latter days of the system. it really is an excellent book that is a must for anyone interested in the history of the city of Glasgow.
