I would say that if you are looking for a coffee table book in order to give inspiration of what can be done when knitting clothing items, then you may well be interested in this book. However, if you actually want to knit anything from it, you may want to think again. I have now completed two items from this book: the shrug and the cloche. The sleeves in the shrug were too short (granted I should've checked as was knitting) and the cloche was also too short. I have fixed it by crocheting on some extra length and it looks cute, but not what I'd expect to be required to do in order for a hat pattern to actually be serviceable (my partner thought it was a prayer cap!). Looking at other items in the book, such as the cardigan in kidsilk haze, those sleeves also appear too short. Another pattern (for the lace shrug) has a typo in the pattern, at least in the edition I bought. One of the other patterns uses snap closures hidden behind buttons, and instructions for lining are a bit slap dash. Whilst the materials used are lovely, and the photos are well thought out, I keep being disappointed by this book. The disappointment in the patterns is only outweighed by my misjudged expectations.
