Jim Talbott is the Events Co-ordinator for the Alfa Romeo Owners Club and has served on the club s National Committee for 13 years. An owner of Alfas since 1972, he has a keen interest in motor sport, particularly historics and touring cars.

Nice little book ... little being the key word! I expected something bigger and more detailed when I ordered it. The pictures are fine, as long as you get a magnifying glass on them to see the detail. Some useful information, but I would've liked more ...

This book has been around for five years now and remains an absolute must for those interested in Alfa Spiders...buying or selling. As ex-AROC chairman, I get lots of questions from potential buyers and always point them towards this Guide...there is no better way to approach car buying than this.

A buyer's guide has to be compact and full of information...you can't carry around or refer to a 300 page tome when your are car buying. I am often asked for advice on buying Alfas, and when it comes to Spiders, it's great to be able to refer to this comprehensive book. There are bigger books on the subject but they are not aimed at those who want to buy...or sell. This one is.
