I really enjoyed reading Girlynomics - it has so many different ideas and resources in it to help even the most fiscally hapless person get a grip on their personal finances. It's also nicely straight-talking, with a good emphasis on self-reliance, choosing the most important priorities in your life, having sensible targets and goals, and being organised. We all have good intentions about our money and this book would be a handy reminder for anyone who has slipped, or who feels stuck and doesn't know where to start. The tone is friendly and empowering, and I especially liked the extra help in each chapter for people with different spending personalities, including life's natural scrimpers and splurgers. All in all, a helpful read and well worth the cover price.
