Entertaining DVD, misleading cover,

I bought this DVD after I read that it had 'My Little Pony' on it. When I received it and put it in my DVD player, I was slightly disappointed to see that the episodes were actually from the later 'My Little Pony Tales,' even though the cover states that the original series are on there and I enjoyed watching it. The newer cartoon is not too bad; the ponies are diffent and have more humanisation than the original ponies.
The DVD also contains two episodes of 'Pongwiffy' (a cartoon about witches featuring the voice talents of Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders), three episodes of 'Little Ghosts' (a cartoon that boys may like as well as girls), one episode of 'Jem' and a two-part episode of 'Moon Dreamers'. The DVD menu is poorly designed. When you choose 'My Little Pony Tales,' it continues to the other cartoons non stop after the first episode has finished. The second DVD has a better menu and is therefore easier to navigate. Overall, the DVD is very entertaining and funny in parts. A word of warning; if you're looking to buy this DVD and expecting the original 'My Little Pony' cartoon, don't. You may be disappointed. 4/5.
