I used to be a massive Wilson fan, I have most of her books apart from her newer ones.
I also used to be a big Girls Series fan but over the last year I've become annoyed by the books. The main character of Ellie is very annoying throughout the book, her attitude at most times just annoys and makes me want to yell "Just get over it!" at her. The biggest problem I find with the books on whole is that they are written aobut three thirteen year old girls. That is what makes it unbelievable. They are thirteen year old girls who get into a over 18's nightclub without proof of age in the first book. Nadine dates college boys and all three of them talk aobut having sex at their age. They dont act like thirteen year old girls at all and it's really put me off the books.

This is a typical Jacqueline Wilson book. Fast moving and easy to read. Once you start you won't want to stop. Jacqueline's style of writing in the first person allows difficult and personal issues to be tackled in an unembarrasing way. Personally I feel that dispite the young looking packaging this is a book for at least 11+. Another best seller I'm sure!

This is the best book I have ever read. It is about two best friends called Ellie and Nadine who have been best friends since they were little, and they always stick together. But when one of them gets a boyfriend their friendship goes horribly wrong. I think this book should be recomended to girls aged 11-16. It is really funny and I think if you buy it you will definately enjoy it.
