Bought this for my 11 year old daughter who has really enjoyed it. I gave it to her one night when she had just got into bed complaining that she had finished the trilogy she had been reading and had nothing left to read. Initially I knew she didn't think it would appeal to her (cover very old fashioned and not a story/tale) but very quickly she was settled down chuckling and laughting. It is full of comments and advice, which are mainly humorous, on all the things girls her age talk about and are interested in. She found it a great book to dip in and out of it particularly when she was between books or only had 5-10 mins to read.

My daughter (9 years old) loved this series of books. She got all three for Christmas. They are still keeping her happily occupied days later and will for weeks to come.
In fact one of the instructions in this book helped us get chewing gum off a pair of my daughters school trousers which I thought would have to be thrown away. This made my daughter very smug and justified her request for these books.
