4.0 out of 5 stars Girl Heart this book (and boys). 12 July 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
When Sarah gets back from vacation in Spain she can't wait to tell her three best friends Ash, Donna and Cass about the guy she met. Joe. He was sexy, sweet, and not to mention a great kisser...and then some. She can't wait to see him again now that they're both back in England, and when she finally hears from him she's thrilled. She's certain that he's the one for her and completely surrenders herself to him. But does Joe want her as much as she wants him? And can her friendships withstand the power Joe has over Sarah?

Fun, sassy, and sexy, Girl Heart Boy is just the thing a girl needs for a summer beach read (weather permitting of course). But rain or shine this is definitely a fun book worth picking up. I couldn't stop reading and managed to get from cover to cover in one sitting. Sarah's relationship with Joe is sexy, fun, utterly frustrating, and completely relatable. But even better than Sarah's romance with Joe is the bond she has with her friends, who really make this book a worthwhile read. Aside from her three girlfriends Ash, Donna, and Cass, there's the boys: Ollie, Rich, and Jack who are all adorable and completely crush worthy. I can't wait to meet up with them all again in the sequel.

*Oh and the Facebook page is really great. I love Sarah's Vlogs.

4.0 out of 5 stars Girl Heart Boy: No Such Thing As Forever 12 July 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
A combination of The OC, Skins and 50 Shades of Grey? I couldn't wait to get my hands on it - and I loved it!

The book follows a group of friends in their final year at sixth form, carefully straddling the fence between childhood and total, independent freedom.

Sarah is quiet, reliable and inexperienced until her life becomes saturated with Joe - a guy she meets on holiday and is everything she's been saving herself for. But the holiday romance becomes an obsession - will he call? Does he want her? Where does she stand? We've all been there!

At parts I wanted to dive into the pages and either hug her with compassion or shake her with frustration. Most importantly, I couldn't stop reading.

The novel is romantic, funny and truthful, not to mention sexy and exciting.

I can't wait for the next novel in the series and I am loving the video-blogs and Facebook updates to keep me entertained in the mean time. Girl Heart boy is definitely my new obsession - I hope everyone loves it as much as I do!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing !! perfectly epic teen read 24 July 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
So I was lucky enough to go to the launch of Girl heart Boy and get a free e-copy and believe me it was a privilege. The book is amazing and I am tempted to get a hard copy just so I can read it and share it with others. It was amazing and I loved it I felt like I could relate with Sarah I felt her ups and owns and at times I almost throw my I-phone away just to avoid the awkwardness of the situation she gets her self into. I wanted to literally take her and shake her. But also at times I though hey I've been in your shoes and felt her pain. I read this on holiday and at times I stayed up reading till 5am just to get to a a less climatic moment but there never was one. I love that it is a series and I know that other teens will love it. It is so worth reading and all the interactive content just enhance the experience. I don't want to ruin the book but if I had to sum it up in 5 words I would choose Love, friendship, growing-up, Romance, reality. It was one of those books that days after you have read it your think back and still cringe or smile to yourself. I know that if Sarah was a real person I would get on with her she seems so normal and real unlike other teen fiction characters. This is defiantly a book that does what it claims, unlike other "teen reads" it is solely aimed and written for teens and you can clearly tell it is not an exaggeration but is very true to life and experiences some of us might face at some point in life. This review is also published on Spinebreakers here: [...]
