Product Description

These aluminium models offer simple yet stable support. The legs feature the new quick action lever leg locks to make tripod set up quick and easy, foam grips on each top leg section mean that repositioning of the tripod is comfortable while quick release locks allow the leg angle settings to be adjusted independently for use on uneven terrain or for low level use. The centre column can be reversed to position the camera underneath the tripod legs for copying or macro shots.

4.0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Tripod 13 Jan 2010
By KenBee
This is a very good tripod, well built, takes any 3/8 screw thread head.
The two way column is a must for macro and awkward places.
I wish I had found it earlier!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy, well built and works 8 Oct 2009
Fantastic, professional feeling and looking product that does everything that is asked of it. I had a slight issue with the centre column but Giottos replaced the entire tripod with a revised version which has fixed the problem.
Slightly heavy but then you are not paying for carbon so you can't expect everything. Looks significantly better than the Manfrotto equivalent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great tripod 23 May 2010
I bought this for product photography and I am pleased I did.

The leg angle adjustment is independent and there are 3 fixed adjustment angles and you can extend the legs individually, the pillar mount is also adjustable when fully extended. For me this is really useful as it lets me get right on top of small products for macro shots, I also purchased a Giottos quick release head with two way adjustment so thats all bases covered.

It is well built and has a quality feel to it, for the price I got more than I was expecting.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid, stable and well built tripod 12 May 2010
After much thought and reading reviews, I purchased a Giottos 9351B Tripod. It is very well made with multi-angle extendable legs which allow a wide choice of heights and can easily handle uneven terrain. I like that the centre column can be angled through 180 degrees which is very useful for macro type photography.

The tripod is quite heavy at around 4 pounds or 1.8 Kg but for the price it represents very good value at less than half the price of carbon. I would absolutely recommend this tripod, it seems obvious but do remember to order a Head also (I chose the Giottos MH5001 which is good value for money).

5.0 out of 5 stars Giottos GTML9351B 3 May 2010

I have for some time been looking for a good solid tripod for my digital SLR camera and lenses. I have considered many, some more expensive than this one. I have a friend with a much more expensive Manfrotto, but there is no doubt about it, this is the better tripod.

Solidly built. Secure and with a host of features normally found on higher end models. The swivel centre column works superbly and is great for close up work. The legs are capable of of being spread wide, to help on uneven land and to get your camera low down. It even comes with a little tool kit and a replacement head for the centre column to assist in very low angle shots.

For the money, I doubt this can be beaten.

Good quality product for the money.

The only downside is the strap and bag are extra and not included with the tripod.

Would buy again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well worth the money 27 Nov 2013

Having spent hours looking, reading, costing tripods and being a newbie to photography not too sure what I was getting into. I settled on this giottos and have to say it's done exactly what the information said it would. Being in my mid sixties it's not too heavy for me to carry and overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid Tripod! 30 Aug 2013
By Jacqui
I have just joined the Photography Institute to develop my skills and aim to set up my own studio in the future. The. Giottos GTMTL 9351B is an excellent tripod for beginners that offers great stability to capture images using slow shutter speed etc. It's easy to assemble and adjust during use and in my opinion the best in the market for a beginner who has lots of additional equipment to acquire.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful build quality. No carry bag.
The build quality is absolutely fabulous with this tripod. It's like the Land Rover Defender of tripods, everything has a satisfying clunk and click or solid ker-chunk. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice price for an amazing product
I recommend it for photography hobbyists.
Professionals will probably prefer to buy an additional head part, to have more position control.
