Pro Photographer : As known it is not always necessary to buy an expensive brand name to get a quality product and after much comparison Giottos demonstrate this with their tripod bags.

Approx 78/79cm long, the bag is made of padded black ballistic canvas that is strong and well stitched, feels like a quality made bag. Double zipped, it holds the tripod snug when closed, though there is room for additional padding such as bubble or cloth wrap if needed.

There is a small inside zipped (4" x 9") pocket that holds an included canvas strap, could be used for other accessories. Has twin carry handle with velcro wrap over, given the choice a shorter handle would be preferred though the handle could be used in similar way to a back pack. The strap clips at each end of the bag via a 'D' ring to carry over the shoulder and is not padded. For the price and size it is all that we would ask of a tripod bag, the Gitzo one being too long and three times the price. There is also an approx 2" x 9" wide canvas velcro strap covering a stitched transparent plastic name card on the outside of the case, also used to wrap round another item or trolly. The end tabs of the bag also allow it to be hung vertically on a hook that may be of use to some.

There must be a reason not to buy one of these but it is difficult to find one, better than expected so we have ordered another one, recommended!

First of all, Amazon advertises this bag to go with the Giotto's MTL9361 B Tripod. This is correct however when combined with the MH5001 Three Way Head Kit, the bag is slightly too small to hold. This forces me to remove the Tripod Head every time I pack the kit away. This review is based on the bag itself in its function to hold the MTL9361 B ONLY not combined with Giotto's MTL9361 B Tripod + MH5001 Three Way Head Kit.

The bag is padded to protect the tripod from any minor bumps or scratches. It is of a good build quality and the material offers reasonable protection for everyday normal use and a small amount of water or splatter. I've pre-treated mine with waterproofing spray which has taken well.
Included is a shoulder strap, this is not padded and would definitely be uncomfortable on a long walk or trek. However for my use (night city shots and street work), it is reasonably comfortable.
There is a velcro strap at the back of the bag for strapping to other gear and a small pocket inside for keeping tools that the Giottos tripods come with.

All in all a standard bag which offers a good amount of basic protection, but lacks in comfort and size.

I have a Giottos MTL8361B tripod with a MH1311-652 Ball head and also a MH5001 head. Confused about what bag to buy i decided on the Giottos AA1252 bag which is 19cm in width and 79cm in length. I am please to see it fits my tripod perfectly with eigher head attached. So if you have any of the Giottos MTL9261b/MTL9361b/MTL8261b or MTL8361b tripods this is the right bag to buy for it.

Ordered this from a Amazon MP seller - fast delivery... Reviews about the bag thou, so what do I think - for the money you can't go wrong my Giotto MTL9351B fits nicely inside with a Giottos ball head.. The bag has a zipped pocket inside - what it's to store I haven't a clue as of yet. Comes with a carry strap that attaches to either end (obviously) haven't lugged it around yet but hopefully will do soon... Material wise it seems made to last, its slightly padded - quite large zips that seem they can actually do the job that their ment to do...

So if you've got the Giottos tripod then get the bag to cart it around in & for the price you cant go wrong...

This padded bag is made out of heavy duty fabric with a substantial zipper and contains a small internal pocket which is handy for keeping the supplied shoulder strap. The tripod fits snugly within the bag without being too tight or loose to move around.

I was impressed with the tough build and quality of this product. The only minor down side to the bag was the poor description provided on the Amazon site which made me hesitate on buying it initially.

I would recommend this bag to anyone who wants a well made tripod bag which looks as though it is built to last.

This is a really good quality item, My Giottos MTL9351B tripod and MH5011 head fit comfortably in the bag with room to spare.

My only negative point would be lack of padding on the shoulder strap, however I thoroughly recommend this bag.

I have the Giottos tripod ,which is a little heavier than some of the flimsier makes, so I needed a bag that was strong and had a shoulder strap this has it all as well as carrying handles. I am really impressed it is well made and the material is very strong, should last for some time. It takes my tripod with the head attached. great product.

A nice bag, but they don't tell you that with the MH 5011 head attached, it won't all fit in completely without removing one of the handles first! I managed to position the head so just one handle sticks out of the zip, otherwise it would have to be unscrewed to be able to close the zip.
