Giorgio G by Giorgio Beverly Hills was launched in 1999. It brings floral and fruity accords. The top notes consist of melon, pineapple and strongly bitter grape. Middle notes are floral, thanks to orchid and peony, slightly touched by peach and ginger. The base brings the warm notes of sandalwood and vetiver. Giorgio G is a luxurious perfume, which spreads glamour and mischief in an irresistible combination. It is as much about the way a woman acts as the way she looks; a sense of fun is as important as a sense of style. The woman who wears Giorgio G loves the fun and excitement of life, and when she doesn't find it, she will create it. Giorgio G is a glamorous scent with a hint of mischief.
In 1961 George Grant and Fred Hayman founded Giorgio Beverly Hills, a women's fashion boutique. The name Giorgio came from an adaptation of George Grant's first name. In 1979 it was decided that Giorgio should have a signature fragrance and after two years in development the first fragrance was launched in 1981. The perfume was kept exclusive to the boutique's clients but consumer demand was huge. In May 1983, the fragrance was advertised in Vogue. The response was huge and orders came flooding in. Giorgio Beverly Hills has over 10 fragrances in their collection.
