Giorgio Armani Emporio Diamonds Femme Eau De Parfum Spray 30ml

I adore this perfume. I cannot wear perfumes that are too heavy and like light, fresh, floral scents (ie Estee Lauder Beautiful, Giorgio, Lacoste Inspiration, etc) and this one fits the bill perfectly. I have had many, many compliments when wearing this perfume and have also had compliments about the scent hours after I've applied it, which is nice to know it lasts, as after a very short period I can't smell it on myself any longer, which is a shame! I'll definitely be replacing my one once I've used it all up.

Reading a magazine one day, I came across an interview with Beyonce, where she claimed her favourite perfume was the "Armani Diamonds". I've always being a fan of Armani; I have a few pairs of their glasses and perfumes so when I read that the Armani Diamonds was one of my celebrities favourite perfume, I was quite anxious to know what the "Armani Diamonds" smelt like because if Beyonce likes it then it must be something pretty special.

I visited my local Boots store and sprayed the perfume onto my wrist, and my first impression wasn't too good all I could smell was alcohol, I didn't smell my wrist again I just left it not thinking anymore of it. Later, that week I went to visit my cousin and told her I was disappointed in the smell of the Armani Diamonds, I told her it stunk of alcohol and she explained I had to wait a few minutes for the alcohol smell to go away. I felt a little stupid not knowing this. I visited the boots store again and sprayed it on my wrist, this time waiting for the perfume to dry and I was wowed by the sensational scent.

I was very impressed with the packaging of the Armani Diamonds, I mean who wouldn't? It looks slightly like a giant diamond with a clear glass bottle; they do say diamonds are a girl's best friend!
The bottle looks very glamorous and really stands out in the perfume selection at stores that sell perfume because it's so exquisite.

Despite looking thick and heavy it is in fact very lightweight and will fit in your handbag very easily, without weighing you down.

The look and proportion of the bottle is spot on, I think it's very important that perfume bottles look good because most women will not purchase a perfume if its packaging looks tacky.

The price varies in most stores; I purchased this for £24 for 30ml at Amazon, which is approximately $40. For 50ml you'd be looking at about £39.

Armani describe the scent of the Armani Diamonds as:
"The sensory blend is a surprising gourmand fragrance to give a stone a flavour and to a woman a self confident and audacious feeling. The rose, a symbol of femininity is made edible and succulent through the addition of a touch of litchi and raspberry."

The perfume smells sweet and very fresh. It stays on for most of the day so you don't need to keep topping up on perfume. Initially, when the perfume is applied it doesn't smell very nice, it smells too strong but that's probably the alcohol, after a minute or so it smells really gorgeous and has a floral scent to it.

I really love the Armani Diamonds, as a fan of sweet scents I am more than happy to of purchased this perfume and I really think it's the perfume for me. I also love the new Hypnose by Lancôme, and the D&G Rose the One fragrance if you like floral scents.
I am not surprised with how popular this perfume is, it's a perfume that most women would really like so it's great to buy for a woman as a gift.
