With E4 showing these back-to-back for the last few years, my wife and I got used to recording them in the morning and watching them over lunch. When they suddenly stopped broadcasting them ... we felt bereft. So ... I purchased the Amazon special complete set at this extremely reasonable price, and now we can have our normal lunchtime habit again - with the added bonus of not having to fast-forward through the adverts! You well think we are rather sad but the truth is this show is simply first class drama/comedy, with acting way beyond what you would normally expect from a long-running tv show. When I retired and found my wife recording and watching this show, I just dismissed it as a "girly" thing, but couldn't ignore it and quickly became "captured" by the excellent acting, clever characterisation and feast of droll one-liners. I'd recommend it to anyone who just wants to be entertained .....

Such an amazing show, I loved it from start to finish! I have watched it countless times and I always get choked up at the end. I do so wish they'd make a film as whilst parenthood is an excellent series and will eventually hopefully come into it's own it will never be another Gilmore Girls every character added to the series vivacity and emotional connection i am sure many viewers felt for the series!

Magical
