For years I'd try every new razor and blade launched on the market but I always stuck with my old Gillette Blue II disposable razors as they worked pretty well and I liked the fact they didn't have any lubricating strips [which make shaving more difficult in my opinion].
End of last year I tried the new Azor from King of Shaves and the Gillette Fusion aty the same time. The Azor had good reviews but I found it terrible - I got cuts everywhere, the handle was difficult to manipulate and hold comfortably. The Fusion, however, was excellent: the blades were incredibly good at shaving with no cuts, the extra blade on the back for edging/sideburns worked well, and while it did have a lubricating strip, it wasn't as "gooey" as the older razors from Gillette and others. I've found that the blades last for ages - so whilst they are quite expensive, overall I think they're good value.
So I'm a convert to Gillette Fusion.
