To my surprise, this is a wonderful, neat, compact and effective cupcake maker. I have now used it 5 times and every cupcake turned out evenly formed. No problem whatsoever. You save energy in that you do not have to pre-heat a huge oven, just to make a small batch of 14 cupcakes.
If you like your cupcakes to be golden brown on top, it will take 9-10 mins to bake seven cupcakes, in spite of it being 1300-1500 watts. Beware, some of the cupcake makers on the market are only 600 watts! If you like them very pale, it will take only 4-5 mins as stated in the instructions. As I do not always ice my cupcakes, I have to leave them longer to brown.
Wish there were 10+ cavities, as this would save even more time. Cute bite-size cupcakes are ideal for parties. Though not stated in the instructions, you can use paper/silicon cases to bake the cakes in. NO need to clean machine at all.
Don't mind one that will make standard size cupcakes!!!
One thing for sure, the cakes will rise evenly and will always turn out looking PERFECT.

I'd done a fair bit of research and hunted out as many reviews as I could: whilst three minutes is perhaps stretching the description a little (hence four stars rather than five), but it did what we hoped of it, and had a very enjoyable afternoon with its ten year old recipient, who made 21 cakes with the recipe she had, and we had time to chat, joke, decorate the cakes and of course scoff a few too,without hanging around bored. It is just the machine, cooks seven fairly small cupcakes, no other fancy frills to it, but it works well, albeit more like in five minutes than three. I'd very much recommend it for that sort of age range of child, and could see a role for it at parties of the more, erm, sedate sort. Maybe not if there are twelve overexcited eight year old bouncy immature kids in the house, but perhaps five or six sedate ones, a year or two older?

Nice gift - still waiting for some cakes though!
Bought as a gift and it was gratefully received (accompanied with a cup cake recipe book) - I have been told it does a good job but I await evidence!

don't be fooled, these are MINI cupcakes
Don't do as I did and expect a full size cupcake maker. These are tiny. I feel the page is very misleading
