Siemens Gigaset SL785 Trio Cordless Phone meet the highest standards regarding design, technology and environmental friendliness. A unique design concept using solid metal underscores the high quality of the handset and charging cradle. Special emphasis was placed on ease of use: Users can move through the newly designed menu system with its intuitive icons using a central 5-way navigation key (four direction keys plus a middle key) on the handset. Metal dome key technology with its clear pressure point gives a completely new feel. Ideal legibility is ensured by the large TFT QVGA color display with 256,000 colors (240 x 320 pixels). In addition, both phones offer excellent sound quality even when used in full-duplex handsfree mode. If desired, users can also mute the phones and define VIP users. When the latter call, an acoustic signal is emitted despite the fact that the phone is muted.

After previous poor decisions on a good home phone I finally settled on the Siemens Gigaset after much research of reviews and I'm pleased to say that all the reviews are correct these are very good phones. Design is very stylish and solid in the hand and sound quality is about the best I've heard. Feature rich and nice clear easy to follow screen and graphics. Only slight criticism is the keypad which appears to be a single piece of metal covered plastic. It just means that you have to be quite firm and deliberate when dialling. Otherwise I would have scored it 5*.

This product ticks all the boxes. I researched options in advance & the Siemens products were clear best-buys in the most-recent Which? tets - again & again in various models. The handsets need a full 6 hour charge before use & you must let each discharge fully before normal charging - but this is no inconvenience. Features & performance are outstanding. While no doubt expensive, this still represents excellent value.

Good sturdy handsets with a mobile like feel, a few to many gimmicks though that are pretty much redundant unless you are on a top package with your phone provider. Like the intercom between handsets though which is useful.
Can't work out some of the features even with booklet as it is a little bit techno at times.
All in all a great looking phone, I would say overall worth the money.
