Bought the factory refurbished set so I saved a few pounds :-)
You cannot tell them from brand new - they are in mint condition.
The handsets themselves are easy to set up, call quality is excellent. They also have an ECO+ Mode which puts the phone into standby when not in use so it saves energy and you do your bit for the planet. Recommend these 100%

I am pleased with the phone as I did not want to pay a lot for a bedroom phone and this just fits the bill nicely. There is only 1 fault with it, and that is, that the ring tone is not loud enough and if you were in a deep sleep, it would not wake you up. Otherwise, it is a good phone. The price tag makes it well worth while and a good purchase.

Perfectly useful inexpensive home phones without frills for an excellent price. Set up instructions not great but no real problems and sound is clear as can be so happy.

Gigaset Single Dect
Very good cordless phone as described.The only problem is that the keys do not light up in night time.Other wise battery stand by is good and very durable phone.

After diposing of what was reputed to be a far better phone I followed advice given by previous buyers. ALL posative reports were spot on, I would reccomend this phone to anyone.
