The Siemens Gigaset AL180 is one of the entry level phones in the Siemens Gigaset range, ideal for anyone looking for a cost effective reliable phone. It is expandable and is available as a single or even a twin pack with one extra Gigaset handset and charger.
Even though the AL180 Gigaset phone is one of Siemens entry level models it still has exceptional sound with HSP. This is Siemens trademarked technology and stands for High Sound Performance and helps deliver crisp clarity without distortion.
As the Siemens Gigaset AL180 is one of the Siemens Eco phones it has energy saving technology as well. Each Siemens Gigaset handset has the ability to reduce its transmission power depending on how far away from the base it is.
Also is Eco Mode Plus is selected the Siemens Gigaset AL180 handsets will go into standby when not in use, reducing power usage dramatically.
Another benefit of the Siemens Gigaset AL180 is that users can talk on the phone for long periods without worrying about loss of power. This is because the AL180 has the ability to be on standby for 250hrs and has a talk time of up to 25hrs.
Compatible with caller display the Siemens Gigaset AL180 has the ability to show the number of the incoming caller on the display. It will also list the numbers of the last 25 incoming callers so you can keep on top of who has rung.
The LCD screen is illuminated making it much easier to read and also built into the Siemens Gigaset AL180 is a phone book for up to 40 entries.

Bought the factory refurbished set so I saved a few pounds :-)
You cannot tell them from brand new - they are in mint condition. The handsets themselves are easy to set up, call quality is excellent. They also have an ECO+ Mode which puts the phone into standby when not in use so it saves energy and you do your bit for the planet. Recommend these 100%

I am pleased with the phone as I did not want to pay a lot for a bedroom phone and this just fits the bill nicely. There is only 1 fault with it, and that is, that the ring tone is not loud enough and if you were in a deep sleep, it would not wake you up. Otherwise, it is a good phone. The price tag makes it well worth while and a good purchase.

Perfectly useful inexpensive home phones without frills for an excellent price. Set up instructions not great but no real problems and sound is clear as can be so happy.
