Product Description

Keeping the same 450W Cooling capacity using only 2 slots, the New WINDFORCE 3X 450W cooling system is equipped with two 8mm and four 6mm cooper heat-pipes , inclined fans, and GIGABYTE "Triangle Cool" technology. This not only provides an effective heat dissipation capacity but GPU Boost 2.0 technology also enables higher performance due to a lower temperature. Brand-new instinctive user interface, easier to monitoring and adjusting all important settings. Users can set up MONITORING, GPU CLOCK, MEMORY CLOCK, FAN, GPU VOLTAGE, Memory VOLTAGE, OSD, ONLINE SUPPORT and update driver, BIOS directly. Ultra Durable VGA board provides dramatic cooling effect on lowering both GPU and memory temperature by doubling the copper inner layer of PCB. Ultra Durable VGA board reduces voltage ripples in normal and transient state, thus effectively lowers noises and ensures higher overclocking capability. Ultra Durable VGA board allows more bandwidth for electron passage and reduces circuit impedance. The less circuit impedance, the more stable flow of current and can effectively improve power efficiency.

This review is based on the assumption you have researched various cards and understand the outcomes of benchmarks etc. It contains basic buyer information.

Recently purchased one of these babies after doing my research, benchmarks, reviews etc.
Firstly the card doesn't come with a VGA adapter if you were wondering.
The card fits into a case with 29cm+ space.
2 DVI connections, 2 HDMI connections. NO VGA connection.
Requires 2 8pin pci power connections to run, do not try to run it on any less or it will stutter.
I am using a dual display with this card and the extra 4gb makes this a trivial task

My relevant system specs for conclusions
CPU: FX8320 3.5ghz Overclocked to 4.1ghz - Cooled with Evo 212
GPU - GTX 770 Windforce 4gb - 7 case fans. 6 controlled
8gb of ddr3 memory 1866mhz
850w Corsair gold psu

The fans on default make no sound at all. When I turned them up to 40% on the
Overclocking software MSI Afterburner they were still silent. They make noise around 60% but nothing too loud which is great.
There is no need to heavily overclock this card currently in my opinion but if you intend to there are fail safes on the card to stop you pushing it too far, however be aware this will void the warranty.

The card currently running Battlefield 4 and ACIV Blackflag on Ultra at 1080p resolution. The card doesn't work too hard to get a constant average frame rate of 30/35 fps my system with temperatures averaging around 60 Degrees Celsius on high load. With overclocking you can easily get it to 40/45 is desired. Idle the gpu sits at around 32 degrees Celsius in my case.

Let me just point out that the build quality is amazing and Gigabyte has outdone itself with the packaging as well! Now to the important things - It has been several months since using this card and it is just amazing. GeForce Experience puts Extreme settings in all games so far and the card just doesn't care. No stutter, no lag, everything is buttery smooth and the card is cool and quiet. It has three huge fans, but I still haven't heard them at all. I can't help but feel that I am always underutilizing the card. Originally, I was aiming to buy this and when I get some more money to buy another one for SLI, but it just destroys everything I throw at it, so I don't think that would be necessary. For the current games, I think this card is overkill. Oh, and with the 4 GB memory you have so much overhead that you can easily run 3-4 Full HD monitors with no problem. Hopefully, it will prove to be more future-proof than previous GPUs.

I have been impressed with this card. It just defaults to ultra on every game I have played so far.
Its expensive but if you want maximum settings on games then this seems to do the trick.

I have had one or two minor issues with some older games where I have had to add launch parameters but no issues with newer ones
