I like this. I like it a lot.

I spent a long time deliberating on a graphics card for my new rig and spent a much longer time staring at a EVGA jobbie.

But I settled on this one because I liked the name, I am familiar with the name, and I read a few reviews which brought the ability of EVGA to question, in particular the build quality and customer service. So I avoided that situation and went for the Gigabyte and so far it's been a really nice experience.

Company of Heroes is on full chat 1920x1200 26" monitor and is smooth as silk. Likewise Black n White 2 is also on full bomber full native res. Aye these may be older games but I like the RTS games and there seems to be more than enough power to deal with them on full settings. SimCity is my next purchase when it's released in March, and I have no worried this card will dispatch all graphical niceties with ease.

I'm not clued up enough to say this is great for this or that, and I'm damn sure it won't run Crysis or whatever other high-spec game that demands a £500 graphics card with dual SLI Titan whatevers, on anything near to ultramaxfullspeed. All I know is, on my i5 3.3, 16GB RAM machine, this card makes the games I enjoy smooth, detailed and a pleasure to look at.

If you are on a budget under £150, but want a card that is more than capable, this is well worth a look.

After updating my display monitors to 2x24 inch, the video card upgrade was next. My old GTX 8800 (still running well after almost 5 years) was replaced by this one. Easy to install at half the size and runs quietly (and at half the temperature) and seriously outperforms my old 8800 and now gives me DirectX 11 too.

Running the latest games pretty much maxed-out and the level of display detail is truly astonishing.

Big bang for the buck. Highly recommend it.

I was looking for a nice cheap replacement for my rubbish old card and this card lived up to my expectations - it could run all of the games I had, including Call of Duty: Ghosts on about medium settings with no lag or jitter.

Was very impressed with this card until I upgraded to a nice shiny 280x - if you're looking for a good budget card I'd recommend this one.

After upgrading from an old Geforce 9500GT the performance is well over excellent from what i was having with the old 9500GT. The card can run most games in full settings with no lagg and fits my needs.

It works perfectly. I only installed it to play pes 14, the only waste is the game, not the graphics card

This is brilliant. It's a powerhouse for the price. I was looking at the 1GB version, but then noticed this 2GB version for just under £10 more. Going for anything more powerful than this card ends up being wasteful. Not many games require a more powerful car. As of writing this, this card is classed as a mid-range card, or in my case and majority of people, it's a high-end. I'm running everyone of my games on the highest settings, and this card doesn't yawns at them. The Radeon 7770 is better value, but because I also use Linux, I needed compatibility. So this card is brilliant.

I bought this item to improve the graphics capability of an ageing PC, originally bought in 2006. The new graphics card is smaller than the old one and easy to fit in a rather cramped computer case, and has given the old PC a new lease of life. Despite an old motherboard and rather ancient CPU (not even an i3) the extra oomph provided to the graphics has made games more playable. WoW settings, for example, are now pretty much at the max.

The GeForce software is also excellent. I particularly like the game detection and optimisation feature which lists all the current and recommended settings, and shows screenshots and an explanation of how each setting affects the game experience. The 2GB of memory certainly makes a difference. I recommended using the suggested optimisations in most cases. You can apply a little personalised tweaking, here and there, but the recommended settings seem to be pretty much spot-on.

To put this in context, I combined this upgrade with an earlier increase in system memory from 2GB to 4GB, and installed 64-bit Windows (the mobo and CPU were OK with that). The extra memory has helped ease the load on the old CPU. My point is that you should not expect new graphics card alone to make a huge difference if the rest of your system is unchanged.

Recommended for situations where a longer card cannot be fitted. If you *can* fit a longer card (with plenty of air flow around it) you may want to consider spending a bit more and going for the GTX660, for example.
