Not owning a graphics card , I did a bit of research on YouTube and decided to get this entry level Gpu.
It is as good as Xbox one and ps4 , so the price was attractive.
The games that ran on high and ultra settings like Bf4 at good frame rates where looking really good on 1080p.
This is great card, and bang for buck I'm very pleased with the performance, until I decide what rig I want , this card will do just fine.
Project cars looks amazing on this card, YouTube clips show what this card is capable of. That's what you should do, just a bit of research goes a long way. If you have a desk top with no graphics card and want to try Gaming. This card is aimed at you.
There are some great racing sims only available on PC , now I get to play these. Try looking at " steam" .

Works great and easy to fit. Massive difference in graphics. Only issue was that it needed the auxiliary power connected to the card. Not a big problem but supposedly not needed with this card.

It's very easy to spend money on graphics cards, indeed they can range from £50 for a barebones version all the way up to and beyond £450+ for the very latest card, This one however sit's somewhere in the middle and is more than capable of running most games on very high settings lag free. 2GB of the latest GDDR5 Memory is exactly what most people should be looking for. Also this card is rated at 4K@60 frames per second via the two HDMI ports, it can support up to 4 screens in total (2 on HDMI, 1 on DVI-I and one on DVI-D). For those wanting to know the overall size of the card to see if it fits into your case: L=204mm , W=144 mm, H=42mm.

The card has been designed to work in a PCI-Express slot 3.0 x 16 Bus and DOES require a 6-pin power connector directly from the power supply, they do include an adapter in the box should you only have 2x 4 pin connectors available. Now here comes the warning, Ensure you have a minimum of a 450w rated power supply. Sure, the literature might say a minimum of 400w but sometimes you can get power spikes especially during intensive gaming sessions or if you are video editing and having a power supply capable of handling such events is essential...

Verdict: For the money you will struggle to find a better graphics card capable of running the vast majority of games at near ultra settings. More than that, it's got a good balance or power usage and performance and would equally make a great choice for everyday use, knowing that you have the graphical capacity to play games and edit videos.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I bought this card to fit in my Media PC, which is intended for videos and some gaming. It is a good combination of performance/price that will run all the modern titles, in high but not always ultra settings. Also it is near silent while watching videos, and pretty quiet during games. The card is very short, so there is no issues fitting it inside a case. It is a full height card, and in fact slightly larger than some thanks to the heatpipe that sticks out the top. Gigabyte also do another 750ti which is half height, should you require that.
The card comes with a driver disk and a power adapter, should your PC not have the appropriate six pin VGA power connector. I am pretty sure it will though, they have been around for years. There shouldn't be any issue at all with a power supply. The card only consumes 60W maximum, and the 400W Gigabyte recommend is being conservative.
I use the free and utilities MSI Afterburner and Riva Tuner. Just a personal choice of course, but I find it useful to monitor a graphics card for a few weeks until I am happy it is working fine and the PSU is happy. In the Media PC I have setup Riva Tuner to limit the framerate of the card to be the same as my monitor ~ 60FPS. In doing that, it significantly reduces the heat the card will produce and the power it consumes when under full load. You use MSI to monitor the power consumption and that will assure me that everything is OK. I have no doubt it will be.
Cooling is a combination of heatpipe, heatsink and dual fan and is second to none at the moment. Cooling is even better than the Asus 750ti. It runs so cool, even under load. Just running Windows it was running a few degrees above ambient, with the fan off most of the time. Even with a video it one put on a degree and the fan was at ~4%. In other words, perfect for a media machine because it was totally inaudible.
All in all, it's great value, and good performance.

Had it recommended to me by a guy that owns a PC repair shop, told me 750ti would cost around £150 but would perform like a GPU double the price.
I'm no expert but this card was very simple to install. It runs really well, especially from myself going from graphics built into my processor to this!
Every game in my steam library runs flawless, playing DayZ, Payday 2, etc on the highest settings without a hitch.
Overall I'd say this is well worth *more* than the current price & had I paid double for it I would still not be disappointed.
