Quality Motherboard 22 Mar 2011
This was my first computer assembly.
I bought this from Amazon after reading many 'professional/ expert' internet reviews on the product. I was looking for the most up to date features and highest recommendations from these reviews for a medium range board costing around £100.
The first thing that struck me was the build quality, it looks and feels well made. The soldering is very clean and all the components are arranged neatly and uniformly.
The processor, graphics card and memory etc. have fitted easily and securely.
The headers for usb, fans and sockets for the case l.e.d.s and switches are clearly labelled.
There were no problems on first start up and using Windows 7 operating system I didn't have to load drivers or make any alterations to the bios........ it worked straight from the box.
I am using the onboard audio and it sounds as good as my old computer which has an Audigy Soundblaster sound card.
I have installed a Sapphire HD5570 1GB DDR3 Graphics Card but haven't compared this with the onboard graphics but I would be interested to hear from anybody that has made the comparison.
After running successfully for a week without any problems I used the 'auto unlock' function in the bios and have turned my dual core AMD Phenom 550 x11(Black Edition) into a quad core. This may not work for everyone and the reasons can be found if you read the reviews on the processor.

To conclude....... this is a very well constructed platform for your build. It has the latest chipsets, is clearly labelled and to me has simplified my first build.

Excellent product with many features. good build quality and easy installation. Coupled with my new AMD phenom II 975 black box edition, runs sweet.

Competitive pricing from Amazon coupled with free delivery makes excellent value.

Fantastic 15 July 2011
I have built myself a pc with this motherboard, amd phenom 2 x2 560 BE and couple of other bits. It took me no longer than 5 minutes to fit on the Motherboard and an extra 10 minutes fitting the CPU (it took this long as it was very fiddly trying to get the clips on placed). The RAM, PSU, Dvd rewriter & HDD took no longer than another 20 minutes.

The motherboard itself is very good looking one indeed however there is one problem and thats where the sata inputs have been placed and its very fiddly trying to attach the sata cables to the motherboard. The reason for this being is that instead of attaching it from the top you have to do it from the side (if that makes any sense). However this one thing won't change my mind in giving it a 4 as all the other advantages are just so good for it not to get a 5 star.

I would recommend this board to anyone who is looking to upgrade in the future and willing to play games as the onboard graphics is no slouch and there is plenty of expansion slots :)
