Product Description

Product Description

No more Mr or Mrs--become a Laird or Lady… of a castle in the Scottish Highlands. Simply register the gift to ‘own’ one square foot of land in the grounds of Dunans Castle and thus become a Laird or Lady. Everything you need is inside--simply register the gift online or by post.

Scottish landowners are legally permitted to use the title ‘Laird’ whilst female Lairds often use the term ‘Lady’ instead. Having registered the gift, you will ‘own’ a real piece of Scotland. You will be sent a land ownership certificate and a Proof of Title card entitling you to a multitude of Laird-based perks including a free tour for two of Dunans Castle and Estate, free lifetime access to Dunans Estate which includes Dunans Bridge and the tallest tree in the UK, and much more. If you do visit Dunans Estate, you will even be able to locate your plot of land.

Inside the gift tin you will find all sorts of Laird-based information including the history of Dunans, a stunning, full-colour A3 Dunans Castle poster and more. Also includes easy-to-follow instructions to become a Laird or Lady.

Your personalised land ownership certificate and Proof of Title card will be dispatched within 28 days of registration. Proceeds from every gift registered go towards Dunans Charitable Trust, a registered charity which works towards restoring Dunans Castle and grounds.

The perfect gift for all aspiring aristocrats, for anyone who yearns for the high life, or for anyone who no longer wishes to associate themselves with the hoi polloi.

Box Contains

  • Welcome Letter
  • Your Gift Explained

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect crimbo prezzy 6 Jan 2013
    Verified Purchase
This was a great gift for my friend and when she received it she loved it. It was easy to register on line and she is now an official lady. We are going to be spending a week up in the castle in the summer. I would recommend this as a great gimmick gift and it is well worth the money.

Good idea for the person who has everything. Don't take it too serious. Good idea for men who I find hard to buy for.

The "Proof of Title" card is useless as it does not even have your name on it! The certificate turned up bent on the corner and I emailed Gift Republic and they didn't even bother to reply!

Cracking little gift. Does exactly what it says on the tin (excuse the pun). A really good gift for a bit of fun. And the proceeds go towards the restoration of Dunans castle.
