Book Description

A GIFT TO DIE FOR: Two long years have passed since Richard Palmer lost his wife and his best friend in murderous circumstances. Time enough for Palmer to come to terms with his grief and begin building a new life for himself. He is delighted therefore when Emma, the daughter of his murdered friend, returns to England in search of work. Upon visiting the murder scene, Emma discovers an ancient casket hidden beneath the floorboards. Hieroglyphics on the casket describe a mysterious pendant that is capable of extending mystical powers to its owner. But there's a catch - the pendant is missing. Meanwhile, the man responsible for the two murders, Dave Fletcher, has discovered for himself the truly amazing powers of the pendant. But is it really a gift worth dying for? As his vendetta against Palmer unfolds, he triggers a chain of events which threaten to consume anyone associated with the pendent with a fate more terrible than death itself.

This review is from: A Gift to Die for (Paperback)
Really enjoyed this book. Aparently it's the author's first novel. If that's the case then I say keem 'em rolling please. This book has the lot, interesting story, murder, suspense, you name it. The hereo is an ex cricketer which might seem boring until you realize that it hardly mentions the sport. Good plot and a good ending. The price is a bit high but it's worth it. You wont be able to put it down.
