I was a bit dubious before buying that this would turn out to be just a wooly mat which would curl up and move around the floor but I needn't have worried as the mat has a firm texture and stays really flat even with my 3-year old grandson crawling all over it! The colours are lovely and vibrant and my grandson has played on it every day since he got it. He loves it! Would recommend.
