Four magnifying glasses were purchased due to the fact that they looked durable (wooden frames and chunky handles)and they were pleasantly painted! Attractive to young children.
Great disappointment in their durability. Three out of the four lost their magnifying glass from it wooden surround after a very short time's play. One of which became chipped and consequently had to be thrown away. The remaining two were glued in an effort to prevent their glass from falling out which, I'm sure you will agree, is not what you expect when purchasing goods.

Great fun! Well made and good quality lens, our 3 year old grand daughter loves it.Together with the book 1001 bugs, this makes a very educational package.

Giant Magnifying Glass (1 supplied, assorted designs)
Gave this as part of my grandson's 3rd birthday present ... he used it half the day looking for slugs in the marrow patch! This glass is a decent size for kids, appealing in appearance, a fun piece of kit.
The packaging from the company was fairly ropey, resulting in the card box containing the glass being damaged which I fixed with sticky tape. Good product, sub-standard packaging.
