I loved this book for the way it was organised into topics and themes and is very useful for whole class and group activities, focussing on creativity. There are lots of interesting and unusual ideas for topics such as Autumn, Easter, Ourselves, Food, Families etc.
However, for English infant teachers, the title of Circle time may be a little misleading as there are few activites that can be done in a circle or used for PSHE lessons. Also there are many American topics that could not be used in an English classroom. I don't regret buying this book at all and feel I wil use it lots, but not for circle time sessions.

I found this book to be really useful. It is easy to use, with activities arranged in topics and themes. It is a welcome resource when you are in need of inspiration. This book is very reader friendly and easy to dip into at any time.

This book is full of new, interesting and original tips and ideas that are VERY EASY to use in any teacher's class. It enables the teacher with many resorses to use during circle time without having to bother about looking for extraordinary material; in fact most of the activities won't require any material at all. The classroom resourses will work for any kind of classroom regardeless of size, age (3-6) or even subject.

This book truely is an encyclopedia of great ideas to use in the classroom. It is laid out in a very reader friendly format, listing ages, materials needed, and related books and songs. It has an extensive table of contents with clear headings. I can see myself using this throughout the years.
