5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful stuff 16 Mar 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Beware this follows on from book 1 without any explanation of what went on before but this book has stalwart stiff upper lipped guys and a plucky girl, truly evil baddies, the occult and dark magic, awesome war machines, space flight, bio engineered humans and creatures ........ the list goes on and on. Ignore the screaming errors regarding the laws of physics and enjoy the sheer rush. I loved it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good ending to the series 1 Aug 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is just as good as the first two parts of the series, and gives a good climax at the end. Like the first two my only negative remark would be that the stories drag on in parts, and could have been written more succinctly. However, if you enjoy stories based on alternate universes, then I would recommend this series as it was an enjoyable read and the author illustrated a good understanding of history, physics, and military matters.
