Product Description

The book that you've all been waiting for!

The Infected world is ready to explode.

Scott Chambers, the hero known as Prime to most of the world, along with Becky Young, who used to be known as Dharma before she took her own life, must work together to save them all. Against events so far out of their power class that it might be impossible.

An old enemy, and new friends appear, combined with more headaches than even the IPB normally has to deal with at one time.

Can Prime, the world's greatest super-hero, or at least it's most infamous, defeat the trap laid for them in time? Can he even survive it?

Possibly, but only if he can learn to accept help from a most unlikely source. A dead girl that he drove to suicide.

More About the Author

In 2008 I was part of a high level governmental experiment designed to transfer the consciousness of a human being into a version of themselves from a different reality schema.

It worked. I won't go into the details, but I was left rather... Under prepared for the transfer. Being healthy and of sound mind I decided to find gainful employment. Long story short, I write books now.

I hope you enjoy them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Scott Chambers Revealed! 13 Mar 2014
By zoomreader - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Scott has made a lot of mistakes in his life, and this book lays bare some of the worst as a ghost from his past literally comes back to haunt him. Actually, Dharma treats him a lot nicer than he expects or deserves, but that just makes it worse.

Scott Chambers is Prime, the apparently ego driven Superman of the "Infected" universe, and in this latest installment, our intrepid author has paired up an unlikely duo in Scott Chambers and Dharma (aka the dead girl living in Brian Yi's head) to save the day. I don't want to ad any more spoilers, but this book really goes a long way towards explaining some longtime questions floating out there from the beginning. For example, Scott is not exactly what everyone thinks he is, and while the action is almost nonstop in this book, we get to see a different side to the golden man and his relationships with family and friends. Heck, just writing this review makes me want to go back and read the story again.

Like many of author PS Power's books, I would recommend reading this one in the order it was written. This is not the place to start the saga, but hurry up and read the other books first. If you like cool characters with a lot of heart, a twisted plot and plenty of action, give this series a try.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's only getting better!!! 21 Feb 2014
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com

I was initially hesitant to read this book, the author is not known to change view points that often in his books. And If you have read the prior books in the series, you can't help but wonder how he can pull off making us enjoy these characters, or at least one of them. So I decided to take a "risk" and purchase the book, as I've never really been let down by the author before figured I might as well give it a shot. I'm glad I did. While character development continues to play a heavy part in the book, the story does move along at a good pace. I don't want to say too much...but the ending was intense. If you are a fan, buy this one!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Added Dimension... 19 Feb 2014
By John W. Baughn Jr. - Published on Amazon.com

A great addition to the story line! Dharma and Prime expanded two of the base characters by giving insight into their views. Things are also getting pretty dark too, really dark. The hatred of the Infected is growing and the forces wanting to round them up into camps and kill them are getting stronger. We also get to add in a new view of things from the after life, things are heading towards a big fight and they get some help from beyond.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good series of superhero's 16 Feb 2014

I've enjoyed all of P.S. Powers books and this one didn't disappoint! A war is coming, and this book leads up to an intense setting (I can't WAIT for the next one!!!). Most of his books have a bit of comedy relief to make it fun to read, plus the attachments that form for all the characters between the reader and the books make these excellent stories. I highly recommend this series to you, the reader interested in this type of book. You won't be sorry at all!
4.0 out of 5 stars It was a good read. 28 July 2014

I rather enjoyed this look at the character of Prime. While I found it more believable that he was not a narcissist but rather a victim of both his own and other peoples perceptions, I did not care as much for the focus on the second character, Dharma. While some of the story surrounding her was very interesting, allowing a glimpse into what made her work and what exactly she was, the manner in which her storyline concluded in this book left a rather disappointing taste in my mouth. I didn't mind that she was what she was, but that ending was just too unbelievable, as much as a fictional characters story can be believable that is. Other than that, I continued to enjoy the overall plot line, the fight against both the government, the anti-infected bigot groups and Braid. This book still might have managed 5 stars, but I personally enjoy the focus on Proxy rather more.
