Format:Audio CD
This CD is an amazing collection of original studio Ghibli songs used in a selection of some of their best films. some of the songs include, kimi wo nosete with the original singer and orchestra from the film, laputa, as well as songs from kiki's delivery service, nausicaa, on your mark and others!! I couldn't find any of these original songs anywhere including itunes, hmv etc. this is really worth buying if you're are a fan of studio Ghibli!

Format:Audio CD
...but it wasn't what I expected. I had my hopes up that some of the major theme tunes would be on this, recognisable scores and the like, but the only recognisable tune I could instantly identify were the 2 Totoro songs.
This is a nice album to listen to but also lacks any songs from Spirited Away or Howls Moving Castle, and all the tracks have lyrics - none are instrumental pieces from the films.
So for more atmospheric/orchestral music stick to buying individual soundtracks, but for any Studio Ghibli fanatic who may be strapped for cash this is a reasonable compromise.
