This was the first book that I ordered from Amazon. As an IT trainer looking to break into SAP, I was looking for something that would give me an understanding of the System and explain some of the terminology. It really helped me in my first SAP training position. It only gives a brief introduction to the specific modules within SAP, but gives good undertanding of the navigation facilities & techniques. Very well written and explains any jargon used!!!

This book is a good introduction for new SAP R/3 Users. It covers SAPGUI, Session Manager and the different menus. It does not go into details. It is a good starting point for new R/3 users.

Content quite generic, i.e. things said about ABAP could be said of any language
