This book gives an overview on how to acquire the core client requirements, i.e. what the business wants. I read this get grounding in business analysis for a university course. This book shows how initial vague wishes can be transformed into a solid readable documented set of parsed requirements which the coder can develop into the final product. The pluses of this book are:
- Concise nature of the bullet points
- Links to more detailed tools and techniques.
- Good beginner friendly overview of key points
Some slight drawbacks are the lack of solid end-to-end examples and the rather disjointed nature of the writing.
Overall, this is a good beginner's introduction.
