Product Description

Amazon.co.uk Review

Marketing whizz Jay Abraham provides some powerful strategies for boosting your career or business in Getting Everything You Can Out of All You've Got. Abraham believes that anyone can advance in life by tapping into hidden assets and developing the right mindset. He writes, "You are surrounded by simple, obvious solutions that can dramatically increase your income, power, influence and success. The problem is, you just don't see them." Over the course of 21 chapters, he shows how to get ahead by treating bosses and clients as valued friends; find better and more exciting ways of doing things; develop "unique selling propositions"; persuade people to follow your lead; master the art of selling on the telephone; craft a formal referral system; sell on the Internet; and forge strong, established business relationships. Abraham's central theme is that everyone is in sales. In almost any profession, people must be skilled at selling themselves and their ideas, not just their company's product or service. Engagingly written, the book features more than 200 examples of people and companies who have successfully used these techniques, from Bill Gates and Dennis Rodman to Sharper Image and Federal Express. --Dan Ring, Amazon.com

Its about time! 11 Jan 2001

Let me tell you something, it is about time someone came out with an all inclusive marketing instruction manual that tells it like it is. Jay doesn't waste any time getting right down to the nitty gritty. This is the BEST down to earth, common sense, and most-of-all workable marketing manual I've seen in years! He gives hundreds of real life examples that you can use in your business to make it so easy for your customers to say YES! I've only had the book for a month and have already revamped my referral program, direct mail system, and my online marketing program. This stuff is for real. The only SIX star book in the library. High five to Jay Abraham!!! Anson Bentley, The Paper Trail Scrapbook Company

Implementing just one strategy from this book brought the company I work for over £400,000 of additional sales last year.

The entire book is packed with easy-to-implement low-cost high-impact strategies that capitalise on the valuable business assets you have been taking for granted.

You'll be enthused by the ideas in this book. At the same time, you'll be aghast at the amount of money you've been leaving on the table. Just imagine where your business would be if you had read (and implemented) these strategies 10 years ago!

The book is timeless, aside from a chapter on Internet marketing that has become dated since it was written in the year 2000.

I suggest you buy this book, unless you work for my company's competitors.

It was a joy to read this book. It is fast-paced and punchy and exciting. It is written primarily with a North American readership in mind, so some of the case-studies are challenging: for example, there is a fictional and approving anecdote about a mugger who increased his takings by following the recommended marketing strategies. But, this aside, I was gripped and stimulated by this book. I am now racing to adopt and adapt the hundreds of tips I came away with, and I am also brimming with ideas of my own.
