Review

5 Stars: MRCS Viva Anatomy GemThis book is great for the days preceding the MRCS viva. It is by no means a reference but rather takes a look at all the very common and often sneaky questions that just keep on coming up in the viva. Also covers much of the content that the Royal College emphasizes during its 2 week course. In summary extremely useful. -- Amazon customer review, Feb 2008 5 Stars: Must buyThis little book is a must buy. Read it twice, once the night before my viva exam, once on the train journey to Edinburgh. Good quality pictures and correlates well with what comes up during exams. Well worth the money. -- Amazon customer review, Aug 2008 5 Stars: Great anatomy viva bookIf you have read your anatomy and want to test yourself out, this is the book to get. Many chapters on all aspects of anatomy, good structure and good pictures. -- Amazon customer review, Jul 2010 5 Stars: Brilliant Anatomy BookReally good anatomy book to have for the MRCS OSCE. Lots of pictures and practical questions related to them, very like the questions that came up in my exam. Bit more interesting and clinical orientated than just looking through anatomy test books. Just what you need for MRCS (also the 2 authors set the anatomy questions in the exam, therefore what's in the book is what you need to know!). -- Amazon customer review, Aug 10

MRCS Viva Anatomy Gem 15 Feb 2008
Format:Paperback
This book is great for the days preceding the MRCS viva. It is by no means a reference but rather takes a look at all the very common and often sneaky questions that just keep on coming up in the viva (including mine - the CT abdomen I got questioned on during my exam was almost identical to the one found in here). Also covers much of the content that the Royal College emphasizes during its 2 week course. In summary extremely useful.

This is part of the new generation of books geared towards the MRCS part B.

It is perfect when you begin to get bored of revising, with about a month to go, and need a kick up the backside.

Many of these sorts of questions come up in the exam and the book is perfect for testing yourself and learning.
