5.0 out of 5 stars The Mighty Zeppelin Celebrated 20 Jan 2013
Format:Hardcover
Have just been bought this book by my son as a birthday present and just wanted to let all you Zeppelin fans out there (and we know there are many) that this is a must buy book. Unlike other books written about Led Zeppelin that revolve around the darker aspects of the band's past, this book is a veritable visual feast and actually celebrates the band's music (which matters most of course). The book really is a joy to behold - it looks good and feels good - with some stunning graphics and inspired use of colours. The book starts off with a year-by-year diary of the band (1968 to the present) based on solid facts, not myths or someones hazy recollections. There is then a series of interviews with various associates who have worked with the band (Richard Cole, Eddie Kramer, Mick Wall, Ron Nevison, etc), musicians who know the band (Simon Kirke, Chris Squire, Steve Perry, etc) and very interesting interviews with Messers Page, Plant, Bonham & Jones. This is then finished off with a full discography. Nothing sordid, controversial or pure speculation - just a great book about a great band. Trust me on this one, if you love Zeppelin's music, you'll love this book. And at this price, believe me, its a steal! Once you pick it up, you won't want to put it down. Recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great book on the best band of all time. 16 Mar 2013
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
Book arrived very quickly. Some really good features and photos of the band that I haven`t seen elsewhere. Interviews with all of the main protagonists from Zeppelin although some of them were a little dated!

1.0 out of 5 stars The must ugly. Looking book ever 1 Jun 2013
By Duckman
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
I just can not understand the glowing reviews for this one. It looks and feels like a cheap children's book. Awful kitch illustrations and substandard content.
This one is about to be returned to sender
