Kenickie were a fantastic band, hampered by a lack of public support in a cruel industry. This, their second, and ultimately final album was a triumph for the band personally, but didn't share the sales of its top ten predecessor <I>At The Club</I>. A more morose, calmer sound to the raucous rock of ATC, Get In had two singles but many more stand out tracks.

From the disco beats of Magnatron, to the serene lament of 5AM and the big band showgirl stylings of Something's Got to Give, Get In has something for everyone.

A fitting epitaph to a splendid band.

"Get In" a turly classic album! Here we see Kenickies front woman Loren Lavern really going for it on the focal front, taking their music to a new depth of Indie-pop mood with loads of funky electics. An outstanding album that you'll never get tired off, filled with excellent lyrics, every song is catchy - even TV's "Smack the pony" did a remdetion of "Stay in the Sun". Recomended if your a fan of Garbage & K's Choice.

Now the band are no more, but look out for Loren Lavern's up and comming solo career!
