Product Description

2013 EP from the L.A.-based duo. Get Deap! offers the first taste of what's to come on the band's upcoming full-length album, which is near completion and will be released later this year. This all follows the release of widely acclaimed songs in the UK, which gained the band a Band of the Week feature in NME and got them playlisted by Radio 1. Of the band's debut single 'Gonna Make My Own Money', NME said [Deap Vally draws] on the unrepentant strut of Ike and Tina and the heavyweight clatter of Led Zeppelin, as well as Karen O's tree-felling caterwaul.

I saw these two ladies at a music festival last summer (Electric Picnic) & they were sensational. This CD was also brilliant. Full of energy & noise. Keen to buy more of their stuff.

Fantastically good. Suspect whitestripe influence was involved. But love it all the same. Expect good hogs in the future. Can't wait for the album.

Saw them on facebook, thought it was worth a punt and quite enjoyed what I heard. Big sound for just a duo!

I like female rock bands and Deap Vally hits harder than most. My only complaint is Get Deap! is just an EP, I want more!
Blistering. Will leave you wanting more. 17 Aug. 2013

This is the best EP I've heard in a long while. Four tracks that hit you like a jab-cross-hook-uppercut combo. If you like heavy rock, especially with female vocals, you will love this. If you don't, you will be a convert.

Killer duo! These chicks rock with a serious low-down-dirty-ass vibe. I hope they get some recognition and put out a lot more music!
