Make better borders! 16 Sep 1999
By A Customer
Format:Hardcover
Illustrated version of a gardening classic for those who want a traditional garden. Hand coloured versions of Jeckyls original sketches bring her ideas to life. This book will appeal to those with large spaces to fill. It explains how to make colour themed borders that last all through the summer without leaving unsightly "holes" when plants finish flowering.

Good reference book 26 Feb 2010
Format:Paperback
This has clear suggestions from Gertrude Jekyll for planning an herbaceous border. It shows how to get a succession of flowers right through the year, as well as good ideas for planting colour companions.
