This is a good overall guide but can be a bit hard to understand at certain points as its a bit clumped together. The content is excellent but the presentation format could be more user friendly.

This is an excellent book. Logically set out and seems pretty comprehensive, with a chapter per part of the language. The section on definitions is useful and complete as well as the tips on translation. The cross references within the book are also good.
Would recommend to anyone at any stage of learning German, but it seems to be particularly useful to me with a basic grasp of the language and needing to take it further and, crucially, understand the grammar properly.

i got the book as a present and in no time i couled understant basic sentences .
