Gerald I. Kendall, PMP, is a noted management consultant, author, public speaker and facilitator who has been serving clients worldwide since 1968. Mr. Kendall began his career with IBM as a systems engineer. After becoming an I.T. director, he broadened his experience in marketing, sales and operations. Over the past 20 years, his primary focus has been strategy and tactics, including logistics and project management.
His background includes extensive experience as a systems, sales, marketing, and operations executive with an international focus. He has worked with small and large multi-national firms as well as government and not-for-profit organizations, to better manage large-scale, strategic organizational change issues. He is an expert at strategic planning and multi-project management, with a top-down approach. Recent clients include Rio Tinto, Adidas, Covad Communications, British American Tobacco, Lockheed Martin and many others.
Gerald is certified by the TOC International Certification Organization (www.tocico.org) in all six disciplines of Theory of Constraints, and is a graduate and silver medal winner of McGill University.
Gerald is the author of Viable Vision, Advanced Project Portfolio Management and the PMO, Dentistry with a Vision and Securing the Future: Strategies for Exponential Growth. He is also the author of the chapter on Critical Chain Project Management in Dr. Harold Kerzner's book, Project Management, A System's Approach, 8th edition, author of the chapter on Project Portfolio Management for the American Management Association's Handbook of Project Management, 2nd edition and author of the chapter on Strategy for the Theory of Constraints Handbook.
