I use the GEPE glassfree slide mounts for all my slides in order to prevent fungus build-up. One does have to be more careful not to touch the slide surfaces and to generally keep the slides from damage, but this system is otherwise incredibly simple and very fast to use, as well as being extremely effective for long periods of time.
This was a product I was taking on holiday to friends. In their country this product is now non-existent. The timescale was short since it was a final request and as usual Amazon delivered the goods. Thank you

I have some 2000/3000 35mm slides with many having been professionally mounted in card, which, with age, can cause problems with the projector slide carrier. I decided to replace all suspect frames with these new Gepe slide mounts. The finished articles now look so uniform and smart, so much so that a Society I belong to, decided to use the same Gepe mounts to replace approx' 4000 older type mounts. My latest purchase of Gepe mounts will be used for any slide mounts I buy that don't come up to standard. The Gepe mounts are so easy to click together and each piece of film is held firmly by two interior slots. The face of each slide mount has room for index numbers or titles to be added by a fine marker pen.
