A Peachy Handbook 19 Dec 2011
By Spudman - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought this book to help plan for our trip to Augusta. Within are over six pages devoted to the city and a section about the Augusta environs (middle Georgia). Moon's Handbook is a great tourist starting point that provides historic and cultural background about the entire state and specific locales within. Helpful are the sections on attractions, restaurants, and accomodations. Visitors to the larger cities like Atlanta, Savannah, or Athens will find extensive information about the cities and the ourskirts.

Readers will also enjoy the maps of large and small areas, but will probably want to supplement these with more detailed maps from other sources. Some quoted prices are probably no longer current, but they give the reader a good approximation at least and are good for comparative purposes.
