Review

A clear, unpatronizing literary biography for young adults...Like Ferrell's other fine books this will stimulate readers to explore more of Orwell's work. Readers will be fascinated by the background discussions. Booklist

Format: Paperback
I bought the hardback version of this in Hay last summer. It is one of many hack jobs rushed out thirty years ago for 1984. It might be of some use to someone doing their GCSEs but not to anyone looking for depth or political/literary insight.
