In 1992 George Harrison went on tour, persuaded and joined by Eric Clapton, after he vowed he never would again after the failure of a tour within the 1980s.
The result is this CD, and an excellent package it is, too.
It is a superb overview of George's career, with some of his best Beatles tracks mixed wth excellent solo songs. The songs sound as good, some even better than when they were released, with little known classics, such as If I Needed Someone and Old Brown Shoe. His voice sounds amazing, it seems to have gotten better as he has gotten older. The highlights of the album are without a doubt the amazing versions of Something and While my Guitar with new solos by Eric Clapton. This beats Sir Paul McCartneys excellent live album - Tripping The Live Fantastic, hands down. If you want to hear a good solo Beatle album, choose this, its only got half the tracks TTLF has, but they're all amazingly good and you will want to listen to them again and again.
