The deliciously Family Grill is an amazing way to cook meals and snacks quickly and more healthily. As well as co-ordinating beautifully with the Breakfast Colours Range, this versatile grill will be a cooking companion for your lunch, dinner and sandwiches too. It cooks up to 5 portions at a time so you can easily cook for everyone at once.

In a stylish Flame Red finish, this clever machine will look smart on your worktop but if space is at a premium in your home its grill plate’s lock shut enabling vertical storage.

Does everything it says and I'm very happy with it. Only niggle is when closing it to put away suitcase style, it wants to fall open again and it can be a bit tricky if you're putting it away somewhere a little awkward. Maybe some kind of catch to hold it together would help.

Great, cooks great, easy to clean, unbelievably fast, my only criticism would be on the description "5 Portion" as in my family no more than 3 portions will fit. But perhaps my family are just "hungryguts"

I was so on the bandwagon of the George Foreman grill however I must say I'm dissapointed. It claims to be a five portion however that's extremely small portions. It doesn't cook evenly and found that it burnt certain areas despite being a level piece of meat. easy to clean on the plus side and great guidelines for cooking, just a shame about the quality of cooking. maybe a more expensive grill is needed for that

I had 18471 for many years & was delighted with it. Simplicity itself to use & clean. But it was time for something bigger & optional slope/ flat because the slope on the 18471 meant all the veg would tumble down every time i opened the lid.As with all george foremans, this model is smaller than anticipated..it comfortably fits a mackerel/trout. My niggle is that unlike the 18471 the plates dont dovetail, so when you lift the lid the oil runs down the back rather than into the bottom plate. So you can end up with oil / cooking juice down the back of the grill/ in the hinges & on your worktop. It seems with each gain you lose something. This snag is irksome & i need to work out a way to deal with it because i use my george to cook fish & it could get smelly. This model also seems to hold smells more than the 18471, so more lemon is required to wash, get rid of odours.
Otherwise, its great for the £20 i paid

I've had a lot of grills. This is the latest. I got it as a gift but I never would have gone got it myself because there are much better devices out there.

Pros.
1. Not a bad price but there's better out there for the money
2. Cooks top and bottom. Some grills don't have this and you have to keep turning your food
3. Food cooks quite quickly and does not take long to get to cooking point

Cons.
1. The design is silly. The actual grill lies pretty much flat so not a lot of the fat actually drips into the catcher. You're basically cooking in a lot of grease as a result. 5 degrees would be enough.
2. Very hard to clean. No thought on this. No components actually come out to wash under the tap. I spend my time cleaning with sponge with soap and water and then have to spend an age trying to get rid of the soap afterwards. It would have been far easier to wash under the tap. Fat is not easy to remove Foreman
3. There are no handles to press on or that lock in place, similar to a breville toast maker and grill I once owned. This means the bottom is always more cooked than the top
4. Cooking surface area far too small. Two average size sea bream at same time is the max. Five course meal? I don't think so
5. No temperature control like other grills I have used

This grill reminds me of the scene in the film the Little Fockers when Dustin Hoffman says he's secret to tasty food is he never washes his frying pan. He was joking of course but I'm not as I feel the same way with this grill. My grilled food though will probably taste of soap because I can't put water on the ;)&@! thing to remove it!! Then again I'm sure a lot of people simply just clean the Gill with a sponge. If you're one of them, ignore my comments about it being hard to clean but I wont be eating at your house.
