This is "the book" for logging. The book deals with most common techniques. After a short physical introduction the author continues with some case studies. I would prefer an additional chapter, in which a joint interpretation of all mentioned logging method would take place. Furthermore, NMR is now a common logging tool. But this new method is not mentioned in the book.
Therefore, my wish: please update the book in order to become my favourite book in geological interpretation of well logs.

Many wellsite geologists I have worked with either possess a copy of this book, or intend to. It is well written and detailed and draws together
elements of petrophysics and geology in terms of log responses. It is an extremely useful referance to have at the wellsite.
