My wife was frustrated that the old remote no longer controlled the TV properly. I put in fresh batteries, but soon realised that the remote just wasn't working properly any more. So I checked the web for a replacement and was amazed to pick up this genuine Sony remote for such a good price. After a month I can say that it is very reliable and my wife is very happy with it, thus I am happy.

Amazon Verified Purchase
The remote control was delivered within 3 days. It looked similar to the original but some of the buttons are more plastic. I'm not convinced it is a genuine Sony; no complaints about the perfomance though, everything worked 1st time. I wish I had ordered it months ago when the original started playing up. Its certainly worth the purchase price.

The product arrived on time and works fine. I've found these seem to last about 2 years under heavy use so it might be an idea to get 2 next time!

Replacement remote
Just like the original worked first time no tuning problems or hard pressing of buttons received in a few days so could do all retuning necessary for change over no problems
