Samsung earphones poor radio reception,

These ear-phones worked well with the phone and with the music player on the phone and they sit in the ears much better than the original which came with the phone, but the radio reception with them is very poor. Don't buy these if you want them especially to listen to the radio on your phone.

Firstly, I think the words "genuine samsung" are misleading. While they are Samsung compatible, these are not made by Samsung.
Secondly the aerial functionality simply doesn't work, I couldn't pick up anything, not even Radio 4 on my M8800. Thirdly, the sound quality through the earphones is atrocious. Don't waste your money, go to a mobile phone shop and get proper Samsung kit. This is not my first negative experience with buying so-called genuine Samsung accessories through Amazon.
