The BB9800 has the magnet sensor on the back side, near the BB logo. This pouch has the magnet on the bottom (where the other BB models have it). This pouch is NOT made for the Torch.

the way the seams are sown make the phone far wider. get the other proper blackberry pouch, its rounded at the sides and the overall profile is far smaller.

BlackBerry 9700/8900 Leather Pocket - Black
It's okay - It is a very tight fit and the phone has to be 'forced' into it and then it's a bit difficult to get it back out again. Unlike my other blackerry cover - this is a dull leather and quite 'stiff'.

Although the blackberry just fits inside, sometimes it feels as if there should be more space. However, for the price, its good. Good quality too.

Not Genuine
This is not a genuine product - it feels cheap and mine was poorly finished. It does not allow the Blackberry to use its smart shut down capabilty when in the pouch. Read more

Misleading Product description
This leather case was specifically made for the Blackberry Bold, and not for the Blackberry Torch. Admittedly the Torch fits into this case, but it is not a snug fit. Read more
